So I'm browsing jewelry and spot a bakelite rabbit brooch, marked $2.99. There wasn't anyone at the counter, so I kept browsing and was on the opposite end showcase looking at a coral and turquois bracelet when the counter person came back. People checking out right at the same time, and the woman wants the brooch. Man was I pissed off at myself.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

That is the worst! I’m consistently in that same situation. I hate it. You almost have to be rude. I have sometimes waited online just go get to see things in the cases.

That's just bad timing. Sorry bout that.

That's happened to me before, but what can you do?. Anymore I take it as a sign the treasure God's held that one from me for something better soon to be revealed to my eyes. Oddly enough that is usually the case and what I wished I got was nothing compared to what I was soon to discover. Release your feelings of greed and much better treasure will come your way.

If I see something that I almost want but not sure I will carry it with me 'til I finish looking. Then if I don't want it I will put it back where I found it.
Thankfully I haven't seen any Bar Bells that I "almost wanted".:laughing7:
