I found these in a shed a friend of my parentsput up on our farm to store his old truck and car in he sold the truck and car last year and told me to do what ever I want with what was left mostly junk but found these in a box of pens and pencils set them aside because I have never seen anything like it before
Turns out they are from the 50s and 60s they were a personal tear gas or flare gun hard to see but end is threaded to take a cone shaped adapter holding the tear gas or flare
The company was from Malvern pa

They look like zip guns. Interesting finds.

Interesting finds! :occasion14:

I had one of those as a teenager, it would shoot flares.
It was like a well made bottle launcher,
what shot out of it was really small.
Thanks for the flash back!

Those are military pen flares. Used them and had them in my E-Gear. They are still used.

Today I was looking up cel codes for my Toyota pickup and this ad was at the bottom of the page IMG_2898.webp

Had a friend that while showing off with one that wouldn't fire he accidentally slipped his thumb over the end and it fired and blew the end of his thumb off!
