Here is my latest one to mark off my list!There are several variations of this buckle and all are rare as they have a thin bridge,and are easily broken.This one is complete and is a variation that is the rarest of all of em!It was awesome to get the wreath as well even though it was some distance away

Cody, I wish I had your knowledge of the wide array of those buckles that you dig out there. If I had dug that one at a CSA Camp here where Major Gano's Texas cavalry troops were under the command of Gen. John Hunt Morgan like where I dug the A.V.C. button, Dman would have had to call 911. I know it's not a big deal for you to dig one in CA. Super Buckle my friend, Quindy.

There is one listed on the net that is in ROUGH shape that has a 4 digit price tag....any takers

You said the wreath was seperate? It looks like dirt caked between the two pieces on the right side? Whatever, that is a super find/save!! Once you have it cleaned up a bit, if you can?, post another pic......I think this one would be banner material!!

Thanks Roland,actually its just the wet dirt,in the pic.The closest we ever find these as to being together is a couple feet apart,this one was about a hundred yards.

Nice One, what type of area were you hunting when you found it? Congratulations on a beautiful buckle and like Quin said, if we'd have found that over here we would probably have to have someone with C.P.R. certification to revive us after we had a heartattack
