NEW BEACH!!!

I got a new beach to check out this summer-about 20 miles from me;has not been in use since the 80s.A co-worker of mine clued me into it-says he lost his wedding band there about 30 years ago.Even told me where the road is to it;says its closed now-"you will have to walk about1/2 mile to get to it."So,guess wehre I am going when it gets warm??

Steve, That could be a bit of luck for you. However? There were water hunters in the 80's and you can't be sure it hasn't already been cleaned out! But it wont take you long to find out. Find out from your friend or someone if there was a diving platform out in the water? By chance if you find it has been worked, There's a good chance in water over your head could still be a gold mine. It would take scuba to get it, or keep an eye on the area during the next drought and you may be able to walk it all. Dont forget to let us know how you do there! Good Luck and have fun. Monk
