Not much digging going on. The deer hunters have priority this time of year. Couple hours of digging this week reveals big 6 inch rock. And found the other pieces also. Thanks for viewing/searching!!

You are right on the deer hunting. Nice finds and be careful out there.
 
I believe the rock is a nutting stone. The whole site is surrounded with walnut trees.
 
With that dimple could have been used also as a plat form stone and a hammer stone. You know I wonder about the walnuts as I usually associate them with old home sites and farms. With out googling I do not know if they are indigenous. I think wild persimmon is.
 
Nice nutting stone and you are right about the hunters. I will not tread on any of my lease lands, my hunters pay to much money to hunt.
