New Dirt and We Are Happy

Hello All. Got out last Saturday with Btoots to some new soil, 2.5 acres of easy diggin'.

There is a 1935 house on the site and good finds were everywhere...Btoots scored (34) Wheaties, a 1906 Barber Dime, and an 1869 Greek coin along with other nice stuff. I am happy with another no date SLQ, a nice barber dime, (10) Wheaties back to 1910, a cool silver thimble, and some OK relics.

There has gotta be a lot more to find there...hoping the owner will turn us loose again in the new year. Got knee surgery scheduled for tomorrow so that was my last hunt in 2018.

When I first got into detecting in the 80's I found a similar thimble. It has the scroll work but different than yours and it's also smashed. I didn't think much of it really at the time, but now I cherish the find as I've never found another silver one.
That looks like a lot of fun for sure and 2.5 acres, yea, you're gonna need another shot at that.
