I found my second new dollar in a week in a school playground this morning. Too bad it wasn't older but I'll take it. Kids now days must get more snack money than I did. I used to get a nickel for an apple and milk at recess; and was glad to get it. Speaking of nickels, fifty years ago, you go to the sat. afternoon cowboy flicks for a nickel or best of all, you could get a krystal hamburger(like a White Castle) for a nickel. Oh well, time marches on.

I hear ya. I remember when school milk was 2 cents and the pennies were always wheaties. Nice hunt, and yes, time flies by :-\

I am much younger than you guys! Tee Hee! Movies was 10 cents and milk was a nickel. So was soda pop and a big candy bar. I remember when pop went to 6 cents! Highway robbery! But there was a 2 cent deposit on a pop bottle. I use to pick up pop bottles for spending money. Monty
