Hit my new field hard this morning . Spent about 5 hrs swinging before it got to hot . There is an old house here , the railroad used to go through it and occasionally the are events in the field . For some reason my dfx was killing the pull tabs , but I was also digging all the iffy signals . And one of those iffy was a 1860 IH it's in rough shape but at least I know there good stuff here besides pull tabs, foils and lots of clad . Also found a 1965 hong kong dime weird . HH

Nice. Good for you for digging the iffy signals. I am often not that patient and need to be!

yep. ill get excited and hit my coin preset mode and only be getting about 7in depth, then my 2nd 3rd and 4th trips to the spot ill discriminate less and less, and thats always when i get my best finds.. Patience and persistence is key. As much as that sounds contradicting its really true. good luck and nice finds
