OK!! I think you need help. I would like to volunteer my services. Well second thought your just a few thousand miles too far for me. Nice finds that barber would sure look nice in my collection. HH Burdie

The place opened in 1888 and closed in 1922 and there are eight large foundations deep in the woods. I hunted what was the front yard of one of them and found this stuff plus about 10 wheats.

just to let you know that barber is worth around 3-7.00. what does the back look like? Does it have a mint mark?

great finds. it looks like you have a winning place to hunt! i would go back and hit it hard!

Nice finds and congrats on the silver! The thing with a hole in it is a hem weight, used to weigh down a woman's dress. Very nice sight to hunt and should keep you busy for awhile! HH, Mike

more time working it.

Nice stuff, RK. Sounds like you've got a lot of area to cover. Good luck! :)

Nice finds , try to imagine the lay of the land before it grew up .Look for a place where the students would of gathered or had sporting events . Old pictures are a great help from old yearbooks especially. Old newspaper archives are a good source also. It pays to research a good site like that. I used to hunt the West Virginia University campus around the old dorm buildings but they run me off after about three years . Good Luck

You had an awesome hunt today RK! :o
