Now have just over a month in with the new sov. Confidence is still high I love this machine for the beach. Last weekend was junk jewelry time but got a day off work this week. I had only about twenty minutes before the rain ran me off but got lucky with a nice 24 inch 925. I have negative tides first thing in the morning this weekend and hopes are high.

Nice snag Murph. I bet it looked pretty in the scoop. WTG

The rain on this day ended the hunt early but on the bright side I had swung past the area the chain was found earlier. A few drops starting coming down and I though it was best to double back toward the car in case the sky's really opened up.

As I retraced my steps a few more feet from the water the chain was there and nearly a surface find. Reached down and grabbed the visible end and the rest of the chain came out of the sand like a long piece of spaghetti. Five minutes later the day long monsoon commenced.
