New Garrett, 10 mins of daylight...

Ordered a Garrett GTI 2500, it came today. My UPS guy dropped it off at 7:25, so I glanced at the manual, and went out to play with it. I've got a 6'x6' patch of grass in front of my apartment, and found these two coins in about 10 mins. Nothing amazing, but this is as easy a detector to use as I can imagine. Always fun to break out a new toy! 1978 quarter, 1979 cent

Just to amuse myself, I've decided that I'm going to save every bit of clad I find till I have enough to pay for my detectors, then take a shot of the pile, with all three Garretts leaning on it.

I too decided to pay for my detector with my clad. I have a huge jar and every cent i find of clad goes in the jar. I wont spend any of it till it pays off the f2. Then, i will use it to go toward my next detector..hh

Congrats on your 2500 !!!!! Congrats on your finds Keep going,my 2500 has paid for itself 4 times over, with Coins, Tokens,Gold Nuggets,Diamonds etc,etc. Have fun!!!
