Detector(s) used
whites...dfx- D2- sunray..dx-1 whites...beach hunter id 300 garrett..ace..250 bullseye..II
just found this site today and after reading all these great post i decided to buy a new md. im picking up a ace 250 in the morning. i have a gta 350, i hadnt used it in the past couple of years and when i put new batterys in it, it wouldnt turn on. the screen did blink a couple of times but that was it. is this detector worth sending in to have fixed? and is it better than the ace 250? im into coin hunting, parks and schools. thanks for the help and i have enjoyed spending most of my day and night reading all these great post!

Well let me be the first to say, "Welcome aboard". Great bunch of people on this site with a wealth of stories and information.
Dunno about getting your detector fixed, might be a toss up between how much it will cost, how much you paid and if you need it now that you have a new one.
Can't wait to see all your finds, good luck out there Coolbeans. ;)

Welcome aboard, you will find these folks very helpful and encouraging. Enjoy you new Ace and make your decision from there on repairing your old one. You will probably be so addicted, you'll want a partner and will end up fixing it. Good luck, look forward to seeing your finds!

Welcome, The Ace is a fantastic machine. I am just learning mine, but it hasn't let me down yet, Bongo

Welcome to the most informative board on MDing. I have learned a lot of new techniques and seeing the finds posted on here keeps me going.

ACE250 is my detector of choice.

Ace250 is great, I actually found 62 coins yesterday with mine, not 60 like I posted earlier. I love my Ace

thanks for the welcome! ive been hooked on this hobby for quiet some time, i still have and use my first detector that i bought when i was a kid back in 79 or 80. its a techna. ive always treasure hunted when time allows. it blows me away that so many are using the 250, i thought that i would need to dump a thousand bucks or more into a machine, its great to see all these awesome finds being made with the 250!

The Ace is a great machine. If you need help, ask Danimal or Ringfinder about it. They will give you professional advice pertaining to this superb relic hunting machine.

Welcome to the forum and best of luck to you in all your hunts.
