Hi Everybody! New to Treasurenet, and most of all new to Detecting. I got my Bounty Hunter Time Ranger (the thing rocks) 1 week ago. I've been out 3 times now but the 1st 2 were in my back yard (found some clad and as you all put it, some junque). Got out today to the Lake for my 1st "real" day of detecting. Man was it windy...could only last an hour because it was COLD! I did manage to find my 1st silver (1963 dime) on my 1st real day detecting. I know it is nothing amazing but I am VERY pleased

!!! Well, good to be here and look forward to sharing my future finds as well as seeing the finds of all you fine people.
Eric
P.S. Anybody else in Iowa? Maybe want to get together and go Detecting once in a blue moon or share some research/sites (I know this might be taboo but I can't cover the whole state by myself)?
