all,
well was going to hunt some property a friends uncle owns. but after talking with him , just down the road where he just moved to seemed old(early 40's?) . Seems old for the area. and the history in that area is abundant. over 5 acres here there is a warehouse(newly built) but the area is old for the county, has woods, some larger trees towards the back i have yet to check out. family member found the old Rc cola bottle under the house, the whole family got into the MD'ing even the dog " homie"
lots of trash were i was parked usual pull tabs, these were older, we also found some weird stone material, and also found this axe/hammer about 7 inches down.
then just in front of the house found my first wheatie(1941)
then got excited when i had another nickel signal right by the wheatie hole out came a 1946 nickel, silly me thought it was war/silver.
ohh well there has got to be silver here, wheatie, and older trash and such but will be hitting this property along with the others for quite some time, hunting for the elusive silver( has to be there!!) least i didn't get skunked, but only spent about an hour Md'ing.
