New in to metal detecting ISO friends in SoCal

Hello everyone I’m new to the Hobby and want to learn more about it. Anyone in SoCal willing to meet up and have a conversation about detectors and places to detect? I bought a gold monster 1000 and I bought my 8yr old son a GoFind 66. I’m looking to buy a NOX800 for the beach. Really need help with learning I totally understand I need to put in the work and I’m willing to 100% I just want to start in the right path.

I’m located in La Puente/El Monte but I’ll travel to meet up anywhere from Santa Monica to Morongo and from Valencia to Dana point.



I know it’s hard with the current situation with this pandemic but the good thing that it’s all outdoors.
