New Land - Winter Wheat Stubble - Day 2...

After a quick scout yesterday, we knew which corner we wanted to start the grid pattern, so got straight down to it.
We were expecting a bit of Medieval but not the 2 Scrappy Roman Coins & the Ring!
After 3 hours 45 minutes we started our way back to the car when I found a hammered of Ed I, but this time it was a Newcastle mint which I've never had

Ed I Penny (Newcastle)
2 Scrappies
2 nice Medieval Buckles
Massive 18th C Clog Clasp
Cru'dad got the 1st-2nd Century AD (1800+ years old) Roman Silver Ring (with some detailing on the shoulders but missing the stone) - our second Treasure item of the Year (1 each)!

Its probably close to a 50 acre field, so will be out until harvest. We were lucky Land-Mag found this in the nick of time, otherwise we were screwed.

I'm more pleased with this coin than the ring, which we already have a couple of. After the Ring has gone through the Treasure process we will likely offer it to the landowner.
