All Treasure Hunting
Hello everyone, my name is Stefan and I live in France! :)

I've been metal detecting for a while and I was happy to find this forum, never thought there were that many treasure hunters. I usually metal detect in beaches or rarely in fields, as here in France the laws are very strict regarding metal detecting.

I'm also an app developer and I've been developing an app for keeping track of my finds. Right now I'm looking for people to test it and I wanted to ask: is it okay to make a post asking for help or that would break the rules in any way?

Thank you in advance!

Edit:
For some reason I can't post, so I'm gonna edit my main post.
Thanks everyone for their messages :)

The app is free, so I don't think it categorizes as a product.
Here's the link to the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.solysta.treasures&hl=en

@Javadroid
Thank you!
Yes, there will be an iOS version too! However submitting it to the App Store is very complicated, it can take up to a month. Therefore I want to fix any errors before doing so.

As long as you do not make any attempt to sell, advertise business or products.

The moderators can answer your question, but I think as long as you don’t charge for the app it would be ok. Otherwise you would want to become a Charter member so you can sell on TNet. You've found a great place for information and fellow treasure hunters of all kinds -- welcome aboard mate! :skullflag::occasion14:

welcome to tnet. . . . . . . . . . . . :hello:

Thanks everyone!

Yes, the app will be free. Currently I uploaded it to Google Play Store as "beta testing", you cant check it here if you want.

I was having some trouble organizing my finds, so I created the app to help me organize, catalog and track all kinds of finds we have.

I'll be glad to read any feedback/suggestions you might have, or even if you want another feature :)

By the way, if it’s IOS compatible I’d be happy to help pilot your app!
