Hi guys,
Just saying hello - joined up as you seem to have a pretty active Equinox section and hoping to get/share some tips from you all.
I've been detecting for a couple of years now with the 'nox 800, my permissions are mainly local farmland with some reasonable history behind them. I've managed to find plenty of silver coins from more recent 18/1900s milled coinage, 11-1200s hammered pennies and a few silver roman denarii so there's a good mix.
Plenty of local history items too such as musket balls, minie ball bullets and things like miners pit tokens so there's always something interesting to turn up!
Recently added the Coiltek 10x5" coil to help with some trashy areas and finding it really helpful for separation of targets as well as for getting in amongst things like tree roots and grass tussocks.
Thanks for letting me join up and looking forward to taking part in the forum.
Cheers,
Dan
