So Ive been CRH for about a month now mainly dimes wich have been good but recently have been doing
about 2 boxes of nickels a week. Well today I stopped to the bank to get a box of nickels not expecting much.
Long story short I open the box to see an old customer wrapped roll wich weve all seen, not thinking much of it
I open it to a buffalo nickel wich is my first from a roll, little did I know there were 28 more buffalo's waiting for me
in the roll including a 1943 P Silver nickel wich is also a first for me! Thats 29 buffalos in one roll im pretty happy Grin.
Most of the buffalo's are dateless but hey Im not complaining icon_thumright

Well if I find any other good finds ill be sure to post.

Heres the picture.

that is one sweet roll man! you got more buffalos in one roll then i have in 3 months!

Sweet little hoard there! You did a great job with those. You may want to go back to the bank and see what else that old-timer left behind.

That is a dream roll

What kind of a nickel box has an old cwr like that? Sure wish I could find a box (or roll) like that. You just never know what you'll find with this hobby - other than coins of course.

Nice roll! We all dream of getting a nickel roll like this, and you have got one, nice pile of buffaloes :laughing7:

Yeah ive still got a whole box to go through so maybe there will be some more golden oldies in there.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

Chris,
Excellent score on those nickels. They are getting very rare.
Congrats.

Nice find! I see at least 1 1913 Type I "mound" variety in the pile. Get the Nic a Date fast!

Ditto. Go back for coins of the other denominations.

I looked into the nic a date and im going to buy some online within a few days so hopefully I have some older Coins.
The bank I go to 90% of the rolls are all Customer wrapped rolls so I usually see these old rolls and this time it finally produced ;D.

Has anyone ever had a roll of this sort where it was just loaded with Buffalo's?

Thanks again guys.

Nickels have been pretty good to me lately.
Ive found those buffalos plus 4 silver nickels out of 3 boxes so im pleased.
Im also trying to fill up my nickel book so its great finding the silver plus the low mintages.
