I decided to join this forum so that the White DFX 300 that my brother bought gets used to its full potential.I have always been interested in treasure hunting but due to lack of funds(4 kids) was limited to bottle dumps and privy digging.I have used cheaper detectors but become aggravated with the lack of depth and general performance.I am in the process of reading Digging Deeper with the DFX (Jeff Foster).I am currently running the stock search coil.I have full use of the detector,thanks to brother.This machine is amazing but at the same time overwhelming.Any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
