Howdy all!

Adding groups to my tapatalk and wanted to join a metal detector group. I've owned mine since the early 2000's - Bounty Hunter Time Ranger. Didn't know what I was buying at the time but it's been a good detector that has seen limited use. However, it did find a friend's wedding ring and a tritium sight someone lost of their shotgun, so I like to think it has paid for itself. Anyway, heading to the beach in a few weeks and if fishing isn't great I plan to comb the beaches to see if I can find anything fun. Also have a White's 6000 DiPro SL given to us by a family member. It was not operational, so I took it apart. The DISC potentiometer was broken off. So, packing it up and sending it to the repair shop in VA. Hopefully they can repair it and I'll have a second very nice detector.
Anyway, off to the woods. My farm was, among other things, once a Union civil war camp. It was also a junk yard, so lots of trash to pull. Have my son and his buddy (who brought his detector). Should be a muddy fun time.
