Good morning all!

I am a new member from Scarsdale NY (Westchester). I received my Permit for New York City (5 boroughs) and was wondering if anyone had any decent go to

spots in the city. I would also like to go to a local beach but I am not sure when are the best times to go and if I can go when the season is over

(Orchard Beach?).

Welcome to the forum from Port Allegheny, Pennsylvania. I moved to Pennsylvania last year but hunted NYC. You can hunt Orchard Beach all year round in the sand. The hunting in the water is allowed only while lifeguards are on duty. 10 A.M to 6 P.M.
The swimming season is from Memorial day weekend until Labor Day. Pelham Bay Park was the site of Revolutionary war activities.
