I openned an account with a new PNC Bank and got my first box of halves there yesterday. Skunk. When I asked the VT to get me another box next week, she said that she had another 250 in halves because she had to get someone else 250 of them and would I be able to buy them all from her. I told her I would stop back in a day or two to pick them up. Think it is a little funny that I have to buy a whole box but others can get just what they want and that I have to buy what is left before she can order me another box. I have another Bank that does this for a customer who buys 50 dollars worth weekly and I usually get 200-300 from her at a time.
I also picked up a box of dimes which were all new 2012's so I took them to another bank and traded them for 10 in nickels and 115 in CWR dimes. Found a 1964 and a 1963D in them which was my average box total. I have been seeing alot of new boxes of dimes and nickels lately and usually open them before I leave the bank but didn't want to bother asking to trade for an older box on my first pickup.
