Took a break from the 1840 homesites and went on a search for a 1900 loggging camp I found on an old map. About a mile hike straight up but I found it and maybe the first one there with a detector considering what was found in 4 hours. 2 IH pennies, 1896,1896, a 1907 V nickel, 2 Buffalo’s. 2 neat silver plated spoons, one from 1904 worlds fair, were the better finds. 2 F995042C-43ED-414F-AB8E-4A102F63A5E3.webpI will be taking these 60 yr old legs back again before the woods get to thick.

Looks like you have found another great spot. That 1904 World's fair spoon is an awesome find.

Wow, you've discovered a hidden world, tucked away for a century or so, just waiting. Congrats on your finds...love that Worlds Fair spoon! Rest your legs and get back up there and find more great stuff...Ddf

It's always great to hit a site that's rich in targets and recovering a few real nice keepers, well done.
What is it with these 60yrs old legs, I always thought they had a lifetime warranty on them when I was 20 yrs old. :)

So true. My mind wants to go back today. My legs and joints are in full rebellion. 20 yr old me would already be there this morning digging. 60 yr old me is drinking coffee and on the forum talking about it...

Very nice finds. That Worlds Fair Spoon had to be a great dig !

Lol Digger Pop I know the feeling. But we all know you’ll be going back. Great finds congrats!

awesome job! yeah, unfortunately, not everyone ages well. something about the wear and tear on the body from our invincible years adds up....oh wait, it actually subtracts a lot from us LOL. But all kidding aside, you managed to find some very nice finds

Congratualtions on the nice relics! :occasion14:
