My new 16” Highland Park saw arrived yesterday. Hopefully I can do a test run or two today.
And if it wasn’t for the glacier bringing me all of your Canadian rocks, I’d have few to cut. Thanks Canada!🇨🇦Looks like you're going to be having lots of fun cutting.
There's nothing like having a new toy.
Well asking for repatriations of all those rocks would be a bit too much. And if it wasn’t for the glacier bringing me all of your Canadian rocks, I’d have few to cut. Thanks Canada!🇨🇦

I havent measured it but would guess 1/8”. It’s pretty stout.QUESTION: How wide is the blade or rather how much material does the blade take out of each cut?
That looks like a lot of fun. Good job.
Haha! My knapping buddy has already invited himself down to slab knapping flint. I don’t think he realizes how long it takes. I haven’t timed it exactly but a 6” cut takes a half hour or so. It’s great to be able to fire this thing up and walk away. Auto shut off. That saw is a beast! If you were my neighbor Id be pestering you cut all kinds of stuff for me.
Another question: Is it water / oil cooled or isn't it required?I havent measured it but would guess 1/8”. It’s pretty stout.
