New South Jersey detector

Hi there. I've just begun searching about in South Jersey. I had one freak find of a 1793-96 penny in a load of sand that had been dumped to raise the level in a camp ground. Unfortunately, the date of the penny was totally worn off, so I can only tell its age range from the back design.
