New spot yeilds silver right out of the gate

Today I went to a spot I had driven by a few times, just to check it out. Only had about an hour so in In went. It must be a hangout for kids because the trash was unbelievable. I wanted to start next to an old stone chimney but the visible bottle caps and pull tabs alone had to be in the hundreds..."No time for that" I thought so I headed into the wooded area. after a couple of beer cans and pull tabs I got a signal that said coin....Bingo a 55 wheat... about 3 feet away got another signal and out pops a 1904 barber dime. Its pretty nice too.. after that I was out of time so needless to say...another spot to pound out....

Got that right ken but the site is large probably a couple of acres and the cans and tabs and OMG you have no idea...every swing I had to at least move a beer can...

I've got a couple spots like that, you stand back and look at all the surface trash and think "this will take a lifetime". After finding the Barber you almost have to make some time to clear some garbage. I don't envy the job ahead, but I do hope to see it pay off. Good luck diggin, hope you hit the "big one"
