new symrna beach

any one know of any places to hunt around new Smyrna beach, edgewater?

their use to be a guy sold md on us1 edgewater of of park ave that had found all kinds of Spanish relics and coins he found around turnbull bay i think he said years back that he had on display in his store.i believe he passed away the stores gone for a few years now, I bought an old (white coinmaster 6000) from him a few years back that i use now and then it just gets a little heavy after a while,been out of md for a while and just getting back into it again and picked up a (bh lone star )much lighter also just sent for the small 4" coil for it should be here in a few days and a pointer i found from this place pretty cheap any one ever use one of these i like to know if they work ok?

i have been to the beach a couple of time they seem to be pretty clean not much but a few coins i did find a nice pair of sun glasses last week which were nice.
