New to forum and metal detecting from NC

Hello everyone, I picked up a used White's Coinmaster from a lady for $100 yesterday. She states that she only used it once to find ring. It was not put togather correctly because the coil would not stay up til I moved the washers to the inside of the screw. Can't wait til Friday, my off day to really try it out. Well, I am in the Smithfield\Wilson's Mills area.

It's amazing what people buy and only use 1 or 2 times,I have a electric leaf shredder that a neighbor used for fall,picked it up for $25 and also got a electric paint sprayer for $20 from the same neighbor.
