new to site

Hello, I am new to this hobby. From watching and researching for the last two month's it seems to be a great bunch of people and a lot of fun. I just got a new detector, but wife says cannot use till Christmas. Darn! Is there anyone in my area that would like to see about hunting together and maybe showing a newbie how to get started? I am home most weekends and several afternoons each week.

Alot of nice people from Pa. on the site. Welcome and good luck when you do get to get out. Hunting is tough in the northeast this time of year but some of the hardcore hunters keep at it straight through the winter.

I noticed a post saying Franklin, PA. I am in Chester Co. in the Southeast but there area many members from your area. Try a post in the Pennsylvania forum in General discussion by state. Lot of PA people check regularly and you could probably get some quick responses. Good luck to you and keep on digging everything!
