Hey all!!!! Been detecting for a while but new here. Going to hit up some old home places from the 1800s this weekend. Any advice? I'm going to work the old trees and the foundation

The two dollars 1889 and 1900 were under the old clothes line. .. The others were to the left of an old sidewalk....it was a good 3 hrs!!! I'll be going back there soon

I was hoping Carson City but no such luck.... No mint mark so I'm assuming philly

Thanks. ... does anyone know a good way to test silver at home..... found an old belt buckle and it looks like silver bit I'm not sure

Buy a test kit and you can test your gold and silver finds. Or you can set it on a piece of ice and always wonder if it's really silver or not. :)
