Depends on your hunting preference. If you want the best settings to hear everything & get all the tiny stuff I can help.(this involves learning the sounds) If your not used to digging out as much as possible & cherry picking with discrim then I can't really help.
I can't see you doing well on pasture with the GMP, unless it's been ploughed in the past five years, the only advice I would give is go for the larger coil, than the standard stock coil.

thanks for you help guys ,, had to go on ploughed land today due to it being seeded soon used the settings in the book seemed ok only one find of note was the roman broach
