Hello everyone,

I started to get interested in metal detecting last Christmas and asked for a detector then. I got one and sence then have been afraid to go detecing anywhere. For every rule I find that says I can there is another rule that says I can not. It is frustrated me to the point that I do not know if I want to keep up the hobby. Anyways here are my questions:

1. Abandoned farm homes...free game or not
2. River beds
3. Local Parks

Honestly any one of you all giving be an idea where I can detect other than my back yard would be much appreciated.
