My son and I have just begun treasure hunting with our two metal detectors. He has a whites prize II and I have a garrett AT Pro.
We have found unusual stuff usually scouring old farm buildings here in very rural eastern Wa. The prizm II was mine, now my son uses it he is 11 years old.
The garrett AT Pro is massively better! I do get single or random high pitch beeps scoring 75-90 on the scale, but I can't dig anything up? When I get lots or multiple beeps there is always something there, but odd single random beeps with a high score is not productive.
Why do I get these single or maybe a couple high scoring beeps then its gone or just can't find it. Even with my pro pointer.
