Just found your website and think it is awesome. Check out this base tang I found recently on a dig on the nueces river.

Welcome to T-Net!! Haven't posted in a while myself, but, nice to see a fellow TX rock hound. I live in Houston and hunt around the Brazos. Hope to see more of those great points.....

Thanks for the great welcome everybody. I have hundreds of pics of points that I have found either surface, hand, or sifter hunting. Here is a few that I found last year. Just for kicks, who can tell me what the far one in the bottom left is.

Looks like a Cumberland to me. Beaver Lake?, cant see the flaking. Looks Paleo for sure. Wow Killer stuff. Show it to us. John
 
Txdigger, glad you found the site...I'm in Tx, too. Keep showing the pics, nice to see some Texas flint on here...

Nice artifacts you found there and welcome to T net from a fellow Texas Digger. I'd have to be inclined to call that point you refer to as a Nolan, but I live in far N.E. Texas and we find more "woodland" type culture artifacts out here.

To me it could be a Cumberland if it has the single sided center notch definitely. But it also looks like an Orient Fishtail. I have seen several "fishtails" in Pennsylvania.
