new to Whites, and the MX7

hey everyone. im a few hours into learning this machine. it seems to do really well on small targets. im picking clean a place i had previously believed i hunted out starting with an ace 150 @3months, then a 350roughly 6 months, then about a year with an at pro. i had no good signals left.....until i purchased this setup. the finds keep coming up.

im finding that the mx7 is having a VERY hard time distinguishing old square nails from the 'penny' notch, in all settings.
