I had to travel to see some customers and concentrated on 2 small towns during the extended lunch hour. I picked up some good stuff from teller trays and drawers and was told at one bank that they had some loose halves in the vault. The vault teller wouldn't be back until early afternoon. I told them to bag them all and I'd pick them up later.
I get there and they said they held off because there was $1,600 and how much did I want? I said I'd wait while they got them ready. 1/2 hour later they come out with a cloth bag and I'm thinking - that's a little small for such a large quantity.
Well, it turns out that $642 was halves and the rest were Sacs & SBAs.
It was a great buy. I peeked in when I got to the truck and saw a super bright silver edge. Could it be?
YES! Another modern silver proof - 2004 S Silver. That's 6 for the month!
The day netted 52 -40%, 2 - 64's, 81 s, 05 s, 06 s, 04 s silver and 2003 x 3.

Since they said they had halves, did they only charge you .50 for the Anthonys & Sacagaweas?
