Got out today for a hour or so, really the first time this year and man do I feel it. Not a real productive day I got a couple of wheats '29 and a '49 S, a toy gun that has seen better days a reflector off a old bike a small minnie ball thats a inpact I believe and some junk at a older home, the city boys been doing some clearing on this ground about 5 acres of this home, its where I found a barber half last year, so I did a quick walk through on the way back to my truck really to see if I could eyeball something also and I came up with a signal that turned out to be this bullet, dont know the make of it or cal. so if some one has a idea please chime in. Nicest day in a long time and I had a bunch of crap to get caught up on, I sure wish I had more time to hunt, its gonna turn off cold for the next week or so. Thanks for any help on bullet and happy hunting and best wishes for the new year to all. JYD

Thanks kdismuke1, Yup it looks like I am on my way to another junk filled year, refering to my 'o8 annual post. what the heck its all fun and who knows scrap prices might come back up. LOL JYD.

Could it be .45-70 Government? I used to mold my own when I had an old calvary carbine. Only made 14 to the pound of lead.

Nice haul JYD even though the Iron Brigade would be proud of you :D
