Headed out to metal detect on the outskirts of town today and found another Victorian Era and later dumping site. Managed to find a CT (Carl Tielsch) pitcher made in Germany minus its handle, part of a pewter candle holder, part of an E Miller Co lantern, two porcelain beer stoppers, one an M. Marino-Camden NJ, two White Crown porcelain mason jar caps patented 11-22-1910, two other mason jar porcelain caps, A Chesebrough Vaseline jar, an aqua Three In One Oil bottle, a Pertussin bottle, a diamond shaped bottle patented June 29th 1897, an old horseshoe, etc. 1.webp2.webp6.webp7.webp8.webp9.webp5.webp4.webp3.webp

AMAZING finds. Congrats. Nothing is more exciting to a relic hunter than finding an old dump.

That is a very old dump so keep at it.

Finding old dump sights is a hoot. You made some excellent recoveries. Worth a bit more sifting through for sure. Well done.

NICE PITCHER THAR MOSH

Nice finds! I love those old dumps, I found one when I was a kid that covered a few acres about a mile in the woods of eastern Massachusetts. It’s still there today, I just need to find out who owns it so I can get permission and have another whack at it. I remember pulling out so much stoneware and bottles, I had to call my dad to come pick it all up.

Excellent digs. It's all worth it when a few pieces are recovered intact.
Congratulations
