My hunting bud John and I got to hunt a couple of hours. The weather was great around 60 degree's. And yes I found more than he did! Spotted a decent arrowhead. John found what appeared to be a large lead button, but turns out it's a hem weight. I found a top to a powder flask, along with other Civil War bullets. Check out the pics. Tsgman

Looks like a great day!! Congrats.

Your continued success at these finds is very inspiring. You and a handful of others, seem to be raking in all the bullets .....how many more can there be out there! :)

Nice finds TSG and great day out! Thanks for the ID help, I also have a few of those hem weights, also thought they were buttons. HH, Mike

Those are some more great finds for you. Congrats on your hunt. I would love to have days like that. You must have a ton of bullets by now. Congrats

Ken

A lot of nice digs for the day. Glad the weather is good for you there.
I think you've pretty much cornered the market on bullet finds lately.

during the course of the civil war ill bet they fired literally millions of bullets. it would probably boggle the mind to know how many have yet to be recovered!

I'd say you got the bullet market covered,Great Find's.

That's alota lead, tsgman. You sure are getting the lead out. ;D

wtg tim!!!!!!!!!! love that stuff bud :)

Headhunter, I am sure this site was a regrouping area. They were getting ready to retake Springfield Missouri from the CSA. The Federals thought they were in for a rematch. A Wilson Creek II. The CSA left for the Arkansas border before Gen. Curtis and his Army arrived. This is why they fought at Pea Ridge Ar.

Great haul. days like that are what it's all about....nice job.
