Newb from Virginia

Hey guys, I’m new here & new to metal detecting in general. Over the past year I stumbled upon this site while trying to identify some head stamps I dug last spring on our property. Since then, I’ve been having a blast with a borrowed (cheap) Bounty Hunter. I’m located in Dayton here in the Shenendoah Valley. Any help identifying the time period of some of the things I’ve dug would be Much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum neighbor! I am just down the road from you in Bridgewater. Looks like you have been able to get out to some good hunting sites. You'll find this site has plenty of info and people that have a wealth of knowledge. Not mention some good reading and fun things to learn. Keep hunting and if you do not get any response here try posting on the parts of the site related to finds and what is it to see if someone who checks those parts might see and help with those.
