Newbie from Idaho

Started detecting 2 weeks ago; Ace350 + propointer.
Any suggestions for finding coins in an area littered with rifle/pistol casings and bullet fragments? I must have been finding about 50 per hour.

Welcome! Are you sure the area has potential for other artifacts like coins? Listen carefully to your detector tones. Take a silver coin, a nickel, and a wheatie with you to the site and compare the signal tones, this may help you if there is a possibility of other coins in the area. Otherwise you may have to find as many of the bullet casings to be able to pick out the other goodies. Good Luck.
