Newbie From Kentucky!

Hello everyone!! I am very excited to be apart of TreasueNet! I have been metal detecting on and off for about the last 3 or 4 years, but about 6 months ago that darn bug bit me and bit me good! I have become virtually addicted to the sport/hobby. I have a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202, a gift from my wife and managed to pay for it in less than 8 months just hunting local elementary school play grounds! I even let some of the kids help dig and let them keep whatever they dug up. I found that to be a lot of fun and the kids got a small education as to how metal detectors work. It was a win/win situation!

Does anyone know if there are metal detecting clubs or groups around the Bowling Green, KY area? Might be interested in meeting up with them and talking about our wonderful fun, educational, and great exercising hobby!
