Nice to meet all of you, looking forward to learning from you and hope to contribute as I learn. Have only detected about 30 hours spread out in about 15 trips out. I am digging everything as I hear that is what new guys need to do, the oldest thing I have found is a cival war era bullet it has only 2 rings?, have found a couple of wheats, however no silver to date. My wife and I live less than 3 miles to the beaches, however I have only found lobster trap parts and bottle caps. I have a real begginer rig it is an ace 200 garrett and works in the woods by not really well on any beach. any advice hugely appreciated. I live in a real old part of the country and look forward to finding some history. Any group hunts in the york, kittery area or detectorists looking to share the sport let me know, I will buy the coffee.
