Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Hey y'all, I'm a newbie to the md world, but I've been interested for years, and just recently got a Garrett Ace 250, and have been detecting every chance I get.

I'm in Mims, Florida just north of Titusville. I've hunted the beach in Cape Canaveral several times, but so far, I have a grand running total of 2 pennies, and a handful of garbage for about 6hours of hunting. Not a great start, but I know the totals will increase over time.

I'm also interested in hunting parks and old abandoned fields, but I've found that most parks in Titusville are posted "No metal detecting allowed." :BangHead:

Where else can I go? Are there any places around that I can detect?
