So I just started coin roll hunting a few weeks ago and have a couple quick questions.

1. My first $500 worth of halves came in a sealed bag, while my next two batches of $500 came rolled in two different boxes, why are some rolled and some in a bag, can the banks specify when ordering which they recieve??

2. In my first bag I found 1-64 Kennedy, 1-Franklin and 19 40% Kennedy's. The first box I was skunked and didn't find anything, then the next box I ended up with 2 40% Kennedy's. So I am thinking of ordering another $1000 worth but I was just curious to my odds of finding more silver? Did I just get extremely lucky on my first bag or are those somewhat common?

Welcome aboard!
#1 Honestly, no one here can answer that question. Everywhere is different.
#2 Same thing. No one here can know what will be in your next box or bag. If we could this would be easy. It's the thrill of the hunt.

I'm sure your bank can specify whether it wants bags or rolls from it's supplier. I've gotten $500 boxes of rolls and $1000 bags of loose. I've never seen a $500 bag.

Yes, you had beginner's luck. Don't expect those results (bag) every time out. Or, very often. This is a game of persistence. My first box netted 11 40's. My best bag has been 3 90's and 15 40's. And LOTS of skunks in between.

Welcome aboard the crazy train.
