newbie's big find

recently my friend and i have been CRH around south jersey. today we came across 115 pre '64 halves in a lot of $150. over 1/3 of thees coins were keepers. also have had a steady pick of dimes. what a start. just wondering if there were other people doing this in our area, and has anyone noticed if there is more to be found in larger cities or rural areas. also i have been asking the casinos in A.C. but they seem unwilling to sell what little they may or may not have on hand. any pointers for a new guy would be greatly appreciated. no need to name specific locations or banks, kinda like a fishing hole, its great till a bunch of people ruin it. so i dont want to stomp anyones toes. thanks for reading and i appreciate any help

Re: newbie's big find

It would not hurt to try to check out fast food places. The reason I say this is I worked at Taco Bell before and I found one dollar silver notes, siver quarters, and other change. When I worked drive through people would come in drunk spending al kinds of money. Just a suggestion.

Regardless of whether you can duplicate your find, that's a lot of silver in my book! Congratulations! WTG!!!

Could we ask for a photo though? Puh-lease.

You might try LH & WH that works some time. GL and EG seems to be the best result though,GL and KT. K.Y.N.T.T.G.S and you will have success :laughing9:
