Next to the burned Farm, Eagle Figurine!

Happy New Year all!
Picked a field near the roman farm from sunday to look how much it extends. Bits and pieces like expected with two nice surprises when cleaning everything up. One prussian copper coin was on the way into the jar with "not so interesting coins", but the design looked like a Silbergroschen.... After cleaning with a brush it came out as a silver 1856 1 Pfenning coin. A first for the collection.
A way better find in the trash was an eagle figurine. Bad condition, still the find of the day. Got the biggest ever chunk of lead, a button with anchor and crown, medieval and roman pottery, lead ring, spur part, religious medal, musket balls, lead seals....
Always check the trash bag!

Ya I had what I thought was a piece of encrusted metal trash but looked a little odd, turned out to be a little brass sail boat medallion . Glad I didn't throw it out! HH!

No. It's a roman site but like always. Everything is possible. From the design roman didn't match. More like WWII related. Other thing is that the eagle is not aluminum what i think it would be when WWII related. Just don't know...

Don't think pot metal. More likely pewter with a lot of lead.... I bit unusual. Didn't look like a self cast toy too. Whe thinking about pewter i came across pewter decoration of regimental stein. Gravierter Zinndeckel von Reservistenkrug 1894 Bierkrug Adler Falke | eBay
