Went out early to Casperson Beach this morning (near Venice Florida), and found a few coins.
Most were found within 60 feet of the first boardwalk steps, about midway down the beach.
As I was packing the detector in the car, I looked down and found another quarter - in the parking lot!
Used a Excalibur II 1000 - the surf was coming in and was too heavy to try in the water, so stayed on the beach
