Hey T'neters- So a buddy and I had a pretty slow day in Northern VA near Battle of Bristol Station and then near Centreville... loved the way this coat size Eagle I cleaned up, but what is the story with the triangle base .58? Appreciate the look and any info. The bullet is clearly pulled, but the triangle base is a first for me. Thanks...

No help here but congrats on your finds

Great finds. Don't see alot of triangle base three ringers. That's a great find. If you Google it you will see several examples. Nice job.

By the way, that button is in great shape!

I know some have clay or wooden inserts, wonder if this had a triangular one?? Not sure, first I've seen.

I think I'm learning that it is a French made mini-ball. Seems fairly rare. Thanks!

Congrats on a rare bullet find and a fine looking button! :icon_thumright:
